Assign Custom Statuses Set to a Unit Type
Once you have created a Custom Unit Statuses set you need to assign it to a Unit Type and that Unit Type needs to be assigned to any Unit you wish for those Custom Statuses to be active on. To create Custom Unit Statuses you can view the
Custom Status for Actions and Staffing of Personnel and Units article to see how to create and manage those statuses. Once you have one created you need to navigate to the Types section under the Department Menu.
There you will need to navigate down to the "Unit Types" area on the page. If you don't have any Unit Types defined the list will be blank here and you will need to add a New Unit Type to assign the Custom Statuses set to.
Either create or Edit an existing Unit Type and Assign the Custom Statuses set to the Actions property.
This type needs to be active on a unit for the link to be complete.
Now any unit you create with that type assigned will use the Custom Statuses set you defined.

Note
Custom Statuses sets, Unit Types and Units definitions themselves are highly cached (stored locally) on our mobile apps; for example the Resgrid Responder and Resgrid Unit applications available from Google Play or the Apple App Store. It can take a few hours for the server side caches to clear and to filter down to those applications users will need to log out of the application and back in to pull the latest data.
